Charlotte, North Carolina (June 12, 2023) – Flannery | Georgalis, LLC is pleased to announce the addition of Lambert Guinn as a Partner in the Charlotte office. Guinn joins Flannery | Georgalis after spending eight years at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Western District of North Carolina in Charlotte.
“Lambert’s addition to our partner ranks reflects the firm’s continued focus on building a deep bench of talented litigators,” said co-founder, Paul Flannery. “He possesses a high level of investigative and advocacy skills that will benefit our clients.”
Guinn is a former federal and state prosecutor with extensive investigative and trial experience. He served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Western District of North Carolina and as an Assistant District Attorney in Wilson County, North Carolina. Early in his career Lambert also served as a judicial law clerk at the North Carolina Court of Appeals.
Having conducted dozens of investigations and trials—many of them in federal court—Guinn has extensive subject matter knowledge across a wide array of complex criminal matters and litigation, including investigating sophisticated narcotics trafficking conspiracies, litigating complex environmental protection agency matters, and prosecuting cases that involved fraud and violent crime.

While in the U.S. Attorney’s office, Guinn served as the Project Safe Neighborhood and Project Guardian coordinators for the Western District of North Carolina. He worked with community stakeholders to monitor violent crime trends and helped to develop unique solutions to these issues in an effort to reduce crime.
