Maria Lucia Lineros Hernandez is an Analyst in the Cleveland office. She is a licensed attorney in Colombia and is currently pursuing a license to practice law in the United States. She specializes in corporate, commercial and tax law, with a focus on corporate governance, compliance and complex legal documentation.

Maria received her LL.M. from Penn State Law, where she was awarded a merit scholarship in recognition of her academic excellence, with concentrations in corporate law and practice, tax law, and commercial law. During her studies, she was an active member of the Corporate Law Society and excelled in courses such as Federal Income Tax, Business Planning for Mergers and Acquisitions, Securities Regulations, and Corporations.

Prior to obtaining her LL.M., Maria received her L.L.B. from the Universidad del Norte in Barranquilla, Colombia, where she graduated with honors. She was a member of the Legal Clinic and consistently ranked among the top students, receiving the Distinguished Student Merit Award.

Maria has extensive work experience as a law clerk in several prestigious law firms in Colombia and the United States, where she honed her skills in corporate and commercial law. Maria’s commitment to her field is reflected in her academic achievements and her contributions to legal scholarship, such as her publication with the Inter-American Court of Human Rights.
