Kathlena Broughton

Kathlena is an Associate Attorney in the Columbus office. She earned her Juris Doctor from Capital University Law School where she graduated summa cum laude. She also completed a concentration in litigation and graduated with Pro Bono Legal Honors. During law school, she served as an Articles Editor of the Capital University Law Review, competed in the ABA’s National Appellate Advocacy Competition, served as an instructor for the Law and Leadership Institute, worked as a Research Assistant for Contracts and Evidence, and was named to the Dean’s List every semester. Kathlena also completed judicial externships with the Honorable Algenon L. Marbley (United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio), the Honorable Patrick F. Fischer (Supreme Court of Ohio), and the Honorable Jeffrey S. Sutton (United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit) where she gained invaluable experience researching and writing about complex state and federal matters.
