Kat is a highly skilled legal assistant and paralegal with extensive experience in complex civil litigation and school law.

Kat started her law career in college volunteering as a Guardian ad Litem with CASA of Franklin County working in the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas Juvenile Division with abuse, neglect, and dependency situations. Kat eventually transitioned to a role supporting solo-practicing attorneys in a variety of areas of law. She later continued to a larger firm in insurance defense civil litigation, gaining experience in personal injury, school, employment, and construction law.

Kat also has a unique talent of online investigation that earned her a newly created position at her previous law firm during the COVID pandemic of Special Project Paralegal. Kat also successfully trained numerous employees, creating effective training guides utilized by the entire firm for online investigations.

As a former active-duty military spouse, Kat volunteered for a number of military groups, including serving as the Ombudsman for the U.S. Navy COMSUBGRU 8 and Command Task Force 69 in Naples, Italy, the publicity chair for the Allied Spouses Club at the Naples NATO base working with spouses of officers to admirals from the US and NATO countries, and was the US Representative for the Naples NATO Yacht Club.
