George Kennett

George is an Associate Attorney in the Cleveland office. He earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. During law school, George served as the Business Editor of the Cleveland State Journal of Law and Health. During law school, George externed for Justice Michael P. Donnelly before he joined the Ohio Supreme Court. Further, between 2019 and 2020, George interned at Flannery Georgalis. Before attending law school, George attended Notre Dame College where he was a member of the men’s soccer team and moot court.

Prior to re-joining Flannery Georgalis in 2024, George gained valuable court room experience working for a prominent Cleveland based criminal defense firm. He also spent time at a well known AM Law 100 firm practicing a wide range of general liability defense matters. George has conducted multiple jury trials, taken and defended numerous depositions, and helped represent clients facing felonies, misdemeanors, and million-dollar lawsuits. George’s experience in both civil and criminal law have made him a well-rounded and confident litigator.
