Over the course of his career, Chris has served as a prosecuting attorney in both state and federal court. He represented the state of Ohio for eight years as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney, where he was tasked with prosecuting nearly every type of criminal violation, including complex drug-related crime, murder, sex offenses, and violent crime.
Most recently, Chris represented the United States for over six years as an Assistant United States Attorney, where he was responsible for prosecuting a variety of criminal cases involving complex, large-scale drug trafficking conspiracies, money laundering, white-collar crime, healthcare fraud, elder fraud, bank fraud, wire fraud, public corruption, cybercrime, and extortion. Having tried more than 20 criminal cases before a jury and negotiating the resolution of hundreds more, Chris has proven himself to be an effective advocate in the courtroom.
Chris’s experience as a prosecutor, working closely with and advising state and federal investigators, evaluating evidence, and developing and executing legal strategy through motion practice and in the courtroom, makes him well-positioned to identify innovative legal strategies and provide guidance for our clients.
Chris began his career with the goal of helping people and ensuring fairness. After nearly fifteen years of working on complex and sensitive criminal investigations and cases, he is uniquely prepared to continue that pursuit.
