Erica Solosky

Erica is a Senior Associate Attorney who focuses her practice on complex criminal and civil litigation at the Federal, state, and local levels. A former Army JAG and trial attorney with the Department of Homeland Security, Erica has nearly a decade of trial experience prosecuting criminal and administrative cases on behalf of the federal government.

Immediately before joining Flannery | Georgalis, LLC, Erica served as a trial attorney representing the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in immigration administrative proceedings before the Executive Office for Immigration Review in New York City. Erica regularly appeared in immigration court and drafted pleadings and appellate briefs on the agency’s behalf. A significant part of Erica’s practice now focuses on sensitive immigration issues ranging from deportations to customs enforcement given her prior experience with DHS and the immigration courts.

Prior to her tenure with DHS, Erica served on active duty for over five years as a Judge Advocate in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps. While stationed in Germany, Erica prosecuted complex cases involving sexual assault, fraud, drug possession and distribution, aggravated assault, and willful destruction of property. After gaining extensive experience with the military justice system as a prosecutor, Erica then led a team of prosecutors responsible for investigating and prosecuting all criminal and administrative cases at the U.S. Military Academy. Erica also spent over two years advising leaders and decision-makers for the U.S. Army on regulatory compliance, internal investigations, Freedom of Information Act disclosures, and contract and fiscal law matters. Trusted to advise at the highest levels of the U.S. military, Erica now brings her broad experience and leadership to the clients of Flannery | Georgalis.
