Flannery | Georgalis is excited to welcome former SEC Enforcement Attorney and Senior Advisor Laura Cunningham as a Partner in our Cleveland Office!
Laura represents clients in complex litigation, investigations, and regulatory matters, drawing on over a decade of experience at the SEC in both the Division of Enforcement and senior advisory roles. She brings a depth of knowledge in securities enforcement and policy, having investigated and litigated securities matters involving corporate executives, public companies, municipal issuers, broker-dealers, and investment advisers. As the only former SEC attorney in the region, Laura is highly sought after to defend clients against allegations of securities violations as well as to represent victims of investment fraud who seek redress.
Prior to her government service, Laura practiced civil ligation at a prominent international law firm in Washington, D.C., where she represented leading companies in healthcare, technology, government services, and other industries in intellectual property, employment, and commercial disputes. She also has extensive experience in patent litigation, handling high-stakes cases in federal court before the U.S. International Trade Commission.
