Flannery Georgalis, LLC is thrilled to welcome Gjon Juncaj as Of Counsel in our Detroit office!
Gjon is a seasoned trial attorney with over two decades of experience as a federal prosecutor and international legal advisor. He represents clients in complex government investigations and enforcement actions, as well as complex business litigation, advisory matters, and immigration cases.
Previously, Gjon served as an Assistant United States Attorney in Detroit, leading significant prosecutions in public corruption, organized crime, and financial fraud, and working in the National Security Unit investigating threats to U.S. national security. He also served as the Anti-Corruption Resident Legal Advisor at the U.S. Embassy in Albania, where he helped advance major rule-of-law reforms and advised U.S. allies on combatting organized crime and corruption.
Earlier in his career, Gjon was Senior Litigation Counsel in the Office of Immigration Litigation at the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, D.C., where he supervised and litigated high-profile immigration cases nationwide and argued before several U.S. district and appellate courts.
