We are pleased to share that Maximillian Nogay has joined Flannery Georgalis, LLC as a Senior Associate Attorney in the Morgantown office. Max has extensive experience as a federal prosecutor, where he represented federal agencies and prosecuted fraud cases involving federal funds, recovering millions for the United States. He has developed expertise in matters involving the False Claims Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, and Clean Water Act and has led investigations into whistleblower claims. Max has also argued before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and represented agencies such as the SEC and FERC.
As the Civil Rights Coordinator for the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Max received a commendation from the DOJ’s Civil Rights Division for his significant contributions. Before his time with the Department of Justice, Max practiced at a law firm in West Virginia, handling complex civil and criminal litigation. Welcome to the F | G Team, Max!
