Flannery | Georgalis establishes Ireland office, launching the Firm’s international presence under the leadership of Counsel Heather Kenney

Dublin, Ireland (September 23, 2026) – Flannery | Georgalis is pleased to announce the opening of its Dublin, Ireland office, marking the Firm’s international expansion into Europe under the leadership of Counsel Heather Kenney.

The new office marks a significant milestone in the Firm’s strategic growth and strengthens its ability to meet the evolving needs of its international client base.

“Ireland is home to a dynamic and globally connected business community, and we have seen growing demand from companies based in Europe seeking experienced counsel on U.S.-based matters,” said Paul Flannery, Co-Founder. “Our Ireland office strengthens our ability to provide timely, strategic guidance on complex litigation, investigations, compliance issues, and other cross-border matters.”

Ireland has emerged as a strategic hub for multinational companies, financial institutions, and technology firms with significant business interests in the United States. By establishing a presence in Ireland, F | G is better positioned to advise Irish and other European based clients on U.S. legal and regulatory matters, including government investigations, white-collar defense, commercial litigation, and cross-border disputes. The office will provide Irish clients with direct, personal access to experienced counsel who understand the complexities of operating in and navigating the American market.

As Counsel at Flannery | Georgalis, Kenney leads the Firm’s expansion into Europe from Ireland. With more than 25 years of experience spanning federal courts, government service, and private practice, she brings a wealth of knowledge to the Firm’s growing international practice.

Prior to joining the Firm, Kenney served for more than two decades as a law clerk to three federal court judges in New York and Florida, where she worked on a wide range of high-stakes matters involving commercial disputes, regulatory issues, cross-border litigation, constitutional questions, and complex procedural issues. Earlier in her career, she served as a prosecutor in New York City before entering private practice where she represented institutional and corporate clients on a broad range of issues in state and federal courts.

This combination of judicial, prosecutorial, and private practice experience equips Kenney with a nuanced understanding of the procedural and strategic issues that arise in complex matters before the U.S. federal courts.

“Our expansion into Ireland represents an exciting new chapter for Flannery | Georgalis as we open our first international office,” said Chris Georgalis, Co-Founder. “We are proud to have Heather leading our efforts in Ireland and look forward to building a strong and lasting presence there.”
