On December 18, 2018, Paul Flannery organized and moderated a panel of speakers, including representatives of the U.S. Coast Guard investigative service and the Ohio Attorney General’s Office, to discuss current trends in environmental regulatory and criminal enforcement before the CMBA Environmental Law Section’s 2018 Environmental Law Institute: Great Lakes Update, in a presentation titled Handling Parallel Criminal and Civil Environmental Enforcement Actions.
