Beth Greene Joined WBTV News to Discuss the Decision of Investigators to Delay the Release of Information that Potentially Revealed the Whereabouts of Missing Person Madalina Cojocari (12).

Unsealed warrants were released recently in the case of missing person Madalina Cojocari (12), showing that there was a possible sighting of Madalina at a grocery store a couple of weeks after her disappearance. Charlotte partner, Beth Greene, was asked why police withheld this information for the past eight months: “Investigators probably had some pretty difficult conversations amongst themselves whether to release those images and information.” Greene continued to say that investigators had to consider whether the information was reliable and if it would lead to more sightings. Additionally, there were concerns of tipping off suspects and losing information. Most important is Madalina’s safety, Greene said, “If the person she is with has in fact purchased her, kidnapped her, or has some sort of ill intent, are [the investigators] putting her in danger [by releasing the information]?” To hear the full interview with Beth and learn more about the case, watch the link below.
